This tutorial will assist you to manage your Best WordPress shared hosting account featuring cPanel from your client area. Currently at the time of posting we have four WordPress based/optimized shared hosting packages, WordPress Lite, WordPress Business, WordPress Pro, and finally WordPress Elite. At client area, you are given some quick and handy shortcuts to manage your cPanel without having to login to cPanel itself.
Step 1. Login to your Client Area.
If you need help logging into client area please follow this quick step by step tutorial.
Step 2. Under Active Products/Services box, locate and click on Shared Hosting service you wish to manage.
Step 3. For this tutorial I will select my WordPress Elite product using the domain name emergingdanceacademy.com.
After selecting your shared hosting package, on next screen you will see several panes like Actions, Usage Statistics, Quick Shortcuts, Quick Create Email Account etc.
Package/Domain pane provides information on current hosting package and domain information
Addons & Extras pane displays information about any addons you purchased when purchasing web hosting package. It also provides the ability to purchase available addons to enhance your web hosting service.
Under Usage Statistics, you can check current disk and bandwidth usage of your shared WordPress hosting account.
Step 4. Under Actions pane, you can login to cPanel or webmail with one click.
Step 5. Under Quick Shortcuts, you are given some frequently used tools of cPanel. Using these cPanel shortcuts, you can perform some quick operations like access addon domains, email accounts, MySQL databases etc. without login to cPanel.
Step 6. Under Quick Create Email Account, you can create an email account from client area itself.
Step 7. Billing Overview pane displays useful information about current web hosting account such as billing cycle, recurring amount, payment method etc.
This tutorial covered the functionality that is available for cPanel in the client area. For access to complete advanced functionality that cPanel offers you must login to cPanel by clicking on cPanel link in Actions pane.
